…and with the encouragement of Dr Inyang Takon, a local paediatrician who saw the need for such a group through her work with many local families affected by FASD.
We now include families from across Hertfordshire (and often beyond) who meet regularly to exchange and learn from experiences – good and bad – and support each other through life with FASD. Our FASD Club has become a place where children and young people with FASD can learn from and with each other about their condition and coping strategies.
We want all affected by FASD in Hertfordshire to know that they are not alone.
